Senior Scholarship Opportunities

Mrs. Thalia Swint is the student advisor for Dollars for Scholars.  This organization is a community-based -  volunteer-driven organization.  It is the nation’s most extensive grassroots scholarship program.  Dollars for Scholars provides a wealth of student assistance harnessing the power of community thousands of volunteers and donors empowering students in their own backyards.  Students start in the program as 10th graders and complete it in the 12th grade.  Upon completion of the program, students will earn a $4,000 scholarship award to use towards a community college or university. 

As part of their student activities, the students participated in the “Give Lively” fundraising week held from April  25 through April 29, 2022.  In 5 days the students raised over $1,500 and they came in third place out of 14 school districts in raising the most money.  The following students who participated in the fundraising are:
