Good afternoon RHS Families, THIS IS IT! This week marks the last week of school for the 2020/2021 School Year. We will have a full day only tomorrow (Monday) and Tuesday through Thursday will be half days. This Thursday is the last day of school; there is NO SCHOOL on Friday. Please see the link above to view the schedule for this upcoming week.
RHS Moving Forward
Last week our Seniors had both Prom and Graduation, which were well-attended and priceless events for the Class of 2021. After this week our Juniors will move up to be Seniors, Sophomores move up to Junior Status, Freshmen become Sophomores, and our incoming 8th graders become High School Freshmen! We are anticipating having full in-person learning this Fall, though the district is working on still having online options. Summer School begins next week for both in-person ad virtual credit recovery. There will also be enrichment opportunities available for students.
As the district is working on changes for the high school for next year, counselors are working feverishly on finalizing students schedules for next year. You will be hearing from administration and the counseling team as they continue to progress on plans moving forward.
We thank you all for your continued support and commitment to partnering with us in making sure your student has the best possible academic and social learning experiences. We are grateful that you have entrusted your child with us and hope you have a safe and peaceful summer break.
Congratulations to RHS Junior, Troy Cranford of the Romulus Boys Track & Field Team, scoring 16 points in the 2021 State Finals. Troy Cranford placed first in the 200 meters(22.84) and third in the 100 meters (11.15). Congratulations Troy Cranford, Coach Cook and the entire team, GO EAGLES!
Go Eagles, and Happy Summer!
