The Romulus Community Schools Board of Education is accepting applications from qualified district residents who would like to serve in the currently vacant position of board trustee.  An individual will be appointed to fill this board position through December 31, 2022.

Qualified candidates MUST be:

  • a registered voter in the Romulus Community Schools district
  • at least 18 years of age
  • a citizen of the United States
  • a resident of the state of Michigan for at least 30 days
  • a resident of the Romulus Community Schools district

To apply, candidates must submit a letter expressing interest in the board position, a resume or qualifications, and reasons for wanting to serve on the RCS Board of Education to board chair Debi Pyles at  dspyles@romulusk12.org or mailed/dropped off at Romulus Community Schools, 36540 Grant Rd., Romulus, Michigan 48174 ATTN: Debi Pyles.

Documents must be received by 4:00pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021. The Board of Education will interview qualified candidates at a special meeting on Monday, April 19, 2021 (time TBD), and the appointment will be made by board vote conducted in an open meeting.
