Eagle Update for for December 2021

Greetings RHS Families and Community Partners:

Our hearts and prayers are with the Oxford High School Community. We are very fortunate to have a very skilled and committed security team. We work every day intending to provide a healthy and safe environment for RHS students. If you or your child ever has any information about any potential risk or threat please contact our school offices immediately. We will also continue to update our community as warranted about our COVID cases.

Eagle Update for November 2021

Greetings RHS Families and Community Partners:

We are adjusting to a new reality. COVID has impacted our students, staff, and families. The current crisis has not ended and we are still adjusting as our state has almost 4,000 new cases each day. We are fortunate to have several resources to support our decision-making process and that includes our Beaumont Teen Health Clinic partners. This crisis has forced us to adjust our instructional planning. We need you to make sure that your scholar is in good health prior to coming to school each day. COVID is different!

October Parent Letter

Greeting RHS Families and Community Partners,

Serving as the Romulus High School principal is a tremendous honor. I respect its traditions and history.  I have had the opportunity to serve as a principal at the elementary, middle, and now high school levels; one thing I am certain of is that it takes a team. Thank you RHS families and community for your support.

Count Day October 6th

Parents and community members Count Day is a very important and significant date.

PSAT SAT Family Letter

Greeting RHS Families and Students:

Recent state K-12 legislation requires high schools to offer the fall administration of the PSAT 8/9 (9th graders only), PSAT/NMSQT (10th and 11th graders), and SAT (12 graders) to students.  The administration of the tests is not mandatory for all students but schools must encourage students/parents to participate in the testing.  Students who were unable to take the assessments in Spring 2021 are eligible to take the assessment this fall.
