Romulus Community Schools Summer Discovery Program

Unlock Learning & Fun This Summer!

Romulus Community Schools is excited to once again offer the Summer Discovery Program, a free, full-day learning experience designed to strengthen students’ literacy and math skills while providing enriching extracurricular activities. This program offers a unique opportunity for students to enhance their academic proficiency and explore new interests through engaging activities and field trips.

Program Details:


  • Dates: June 22 - July 23, 2026
  • Days: Monday - Thursday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
 

Who Can Participate?

The Summer Discovery Program is open to students currently enrolled in Romulus Community Schools, from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Program Highlights:

  • Engaging & Rigorous Academics: Daily instruction in ELA and Math to strengthen core skills.
  • Exciting Enrichment Activities: Students will participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including field trips.
  • Free Meals: All enrolled students receive free breakfast, snack and lunch.
  • Transportation: Eligible students who receive transportation during the school year will have access to transportation to and from the program. 

Attendance Commitment:

Parents must commit their students to attending at least 16 of the 20 program days to ensure maximum benefit.
