Paris McCarthy
Term: 2023 to 2026
Paris McCarthy is a lifelong Romulus resident, devoted wife, and mother of three school-aged children. A seasoned educator and former championship-winning coach, McCarthy now serves in the athletic administration, where she continues to champion student growth through equity, access, and empowerment. As a proud Romulus High School alumna, she is deeply committed to the sustainability and advancement of Romulus Community Schools, working each day to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
McCarthy is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education Leadership and Policy at Wayne State University, where she is deepening her impact as a leader focused on transformative school culture and the elevation of public education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Grambling State University, a Master of Arts in Sports Administration, and a k-12 Educational Leadership Certification from Wayne State University.
Throughout her career, McCarthy has led from every seat...whether in the classroom, on the court, or in the boardroom. She believes leadership is service and that the highest human act is to inspire. Her work is grounded in collaboration, humility, and shared accountability, with a belief in the power of community to transform the outcomes for all students.
