Porsche Laster
Term 2023-2026
Porsche Laster is a lifelong Romulus resident, Romulus High School Class of 2005 alumna, and proud mother of two. She serves on the Romulus Community Schools Board of Education and is currently in her second term as Board President.
As an Achievement and Behavior Specialist, she works directly with students and families and brings that experience into her work on the Board. She is also pursuing a degree in Social Work from Grand Canyon University.
Romulus is home. It’s where her story began and where her commitment to community continues. That deep connection to Romulus is at the heart of why she serves. Her leadership is rooted in listening, transparency, accountability, and the belief that the best work happens when we come together, listen to one another, and move forward as a community.
She believes that caring about our community means showing it through our actions. She is proud to give back to the place that helped shape who she is and remains committed to supporting students, strengthening our schools, and making sure “US” is more than a logo and “One Romulus” is more than a catchphrase. For her, it’s about how we show up, how we work together, and the difference we make in the lives of students and families.
