About Darcel

Darcel C. Davis is a conductor, saxophonist, and music educator based in Southeast Michigan. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Romulus Community Schools Board of Education. Darcel is a lifelong Romulus resident who graduated from Romulus High School as its Valedictorian in 2021 and is currently studying Instrumental Music Education at Wayne State University. He has been involved with the American Guild of Music as a volunteer in the theory room and works as a marching band instructor for high schools in Metro Detroit. During his free time, he volunteers with the Romulus band program and serves as a Trustee for the Romulus Band Boosters. He is an advocate for arts education and Career & Technical Education. His educational philosophy is that learning is a lifelong process that happens both in and out of classrooms.
